Specific Therapeutic Strategies during the Course of Anorexia Nervosa — Results of a Study
We report the results of a study with 65 patients who were hospitalized in the psychiatric clinic in Innsbruck from 1970 until 1982. Among these patients 62 were female and 3 were male. 7 of the 65 patients did not answer to the request for an outpatient examination. All the results are therefore obtained from 58 patients. During the observation time one female patient died of an acute renal failure through chronic abuse of diuretics.
