Abstract

Immunotoxicology is the subspecialty concerned with the study of the ill effects which result from the interaction of xenobiotics with the immune system. Although these adverse effects can be the consequence of an immune reaction to the foreign substance, we shall here focus exclusively on the aspect of the damage inflicted by xenobiotics on immunity.
