Observations on Receptor Sites for Dihydropyridines

Amongst calcium-entry blockers (‘calcium antagonists’), important in cardiovascular therapy [1–3], some have a dihydropyridine (DHP) structure — notably nifedipine [4] and its newly synthesized analogue nimodipine [5, 6].
