Abstract

Organic particulates are produced in a large variety of combustion equipments from gaseous, liquid or solid fuels. These particulates consist of solid carbonaceous material, referred to as soot, and extractible organics containing polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAH) and other molecules which are usually poorly identified.
