Abstract
We have already discussed the humoral immune response to CMV infection in Chapter 4. Immunopathology mediated by specific antibody and humoral substances is discussed in the chapter on pathology (Chapter 8). Here we concentrate on changes in specific and nonspecific cell-mediated immunity (CMI) following infections with CMV.
