Measurement of the Quadrupole Interaction For 111Cd in As, Sb and Te

Abstract

The quadrupole interaction for 111Cd in As, the system Sb1−xInx and Te has been investigated. For the system Sb1−xInx unexpected dependences on temperature as well as on concentration have been observed. The quadrupole frequency of the semiconductor Te increases with increasing temperature. This behaviour of the coupling constants is probably due to changes in the charge carrier densities. For Arsenic a T3/2-temperature dependence was obtained.
