Abstract

This study group had the responsibility of discussing and evaluating the state-of-the-art in battery development and projecting what new systems should be studied as candidates for future development. The systems studied are typically oriented towards four general areas of application:
  • Load Levelling

  • Electric Vehicles

  • Portable Applications

  • Solar and Wind Energy Storage
