Abstract

1,1,2,2-Tetrachlorethene is employed as a solvent, and in dry cleaning and degreasing of metals. It is also used as an anthelmintic for hookworms, pinworms, ascarids, and tapeworms. It has been employed as a fumigant for insects and rodents.
