Elongational Viscosity of Polyethylene Melts
The measurement of elongational viscosity of polymer melts was extensively carried out by several authors (1–6) using different techniques, as reviewed by Cogswell (7) and Hill & Cuculo (8). Han (cf. (9) p. 205) has collected results obtained by several authors on different polymers using various techniques; the data reported appear to be discordant in some cases.
