Abstract

A real-space rescaling method is applied to the mixed-bond, spin--½, Ising model. The system comprises bonds JA, JB with probability p, 1-p respectively. We restrict our attention to the mixed ferromagnet for which JA, JB > 0. Critical curves, Tc versus p, can be obtained for all α ≡ JB/JA and we present results for the square lattice for α = 1,2,5,10,∞.
