A Graduate Training Program for Alcoholic Rehabilitation Specialists
The purpose of this program is to provide intensive specialized graduate training in the area of alcoholic rehabilitation for selected graduate students who are interested in a career in the drug abuse field. This training was a joint effort of the departments of General and Experimental Psychology and Physiology and Health Science at Ball State University and the Alcoholic Treatment Units at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana. A balanced program of scientific, theoretical and applied knowledge in this specialized area will prepare the selected graduate students at the Master’s level for a career in this field.
