Abstract

“Celtic Marks Found in New England,” says the newspaper headline. The article continues by stating that Celtic peoples of western Europe were living in the region of New Hampshire and Vermont more than 2000 years ago. Proof comes from rock inscriptions in an ancient language, Ogam, deciphered by members of the Epigraphic Society.
