Abstract

Pick up a newspaper sometime and read your horoscope for the day—perhaps you already do this regularly. What does it tell you? Perhaps it will provide the same type of information we found in some typical examples selected at random:

ARIES (March 21-April 19): This is a good day to spread ideas, but not to start ventures. Get rid of the useless, outworn. . . .

And in the same column: Geminis are urged to avoid flippancy and arrogance, Sagittarians should “be satisfied with a fair share of profits,” and a Libra ought to “think in terms of success.”
