Abstract

The application of biofeedback procedures to relieve chronic pain is a very limited area of research. Only three published reports were located (Gannon & Sternbach, 1971; Melzack & Perry, 1975; and Hendler, Derogatis, Avella, & Long, 1977). Each of these studies will be briefly reviewed.
