Abstract

Some general properties of collective states in nuclei with 28 ≤ Z, N ≤ 50 are discussed. Energy levels and B(E2) values in even Kr isotopes were calculated by means of IBA. The description of odd nuclei in the same region by both IBA and the rotor + particle models is discussed.
