The Chemistry of TTF-TCNQ

The present paper is intended to briefly review some of the chemical properties of TTF, TCNQ and TTF-TCNQ. However, given the very large number of TTF and TCNQ derivatives which have appeared since the discovery of TTF-TCNQ1 it is reasonable not to treat these in any detail, but present general results illustrated by a few examples.
