Closing Talk

Abstract

At the end of this Symposium I wish to try to summarize some of the highlights of the lectures and the discussions held at the meeting. First of all, however, I would like to express my appreciation for the opportunity to attend such an outstanding symposium, which brought together leading authorities in the field of biochemistry and molecular biology from both countries, the USSR and Italy. I wish also to congratulate both speakers and attendants, who made possible such a lively interaction of scientific thoughts which I am sure will produce active catalysis of ideas and experimentation in the areas which have been discussed at the meeting.
