Nucleus-Associated Polyribosomes in Early Embryos of Loach

Abstract

The mechanism of nucleus-cytoplasmic exchange of macromolecules is one of the clues to the problem of control of genomic expression in eukaryotes. Early embryos of a fresh-water osseous fish, loach (Misgurnus fossilis), are among suitable models for studying this mechanism.
