Abstract
Previous research has shown that the kininogen-kinin system is affected during pregnancy and labour. In fact, plasmatic kininogen significantly increases in pregnant women while after the espulsive stage of labour, it decreases and returns to the prelabour values at the early hours of puerperium (1,3).
