Abstract

The presence in the brain of a neuraminidase (sialidase; N-acetyl-neuraminylhydrolase, E. C., 3.2.1.18), reported by Carubelli et al. in 1962 (1), was later confirmed by many investigators (2, 3, 4, 5, 6).
