What can we Expect from the Study of Neurological Mutants

Abstract

The great advances made in molecular biology by studying the properties of mutant microrganisms are well-known. It seems likely that similar advances can be made by studying mutants of higher organisms, in particular in unravelling the details of complex processes difficult to reproduce experimentally in simple but valid systems.
