Abstract

The purpose of this conference was to assess our current understanding of the structure and function of plant meristems and the program was arranged so as to give maximum opportunity for exchanges of information and discussion between participants. This summary attempts to bring out the salient points which resulted.

This paper is based on work performed under contract with the U.S. At.mic Energy Commission at The University of Rochester Atomic Energy Project and has been assigned Report No. UR-49-1501.
