Some Limitations on the Availability of Energy

The title of my talk, “Some Limitations on the Availability of Energy”, was modified slightly from “The Availability of Energy”, the original title. I first started to draft my talk in terms of resource availability, which I mistakenly thought was what I wanted to speak about. But as I became involved, it was clear to me I had missed the point completely—the availability of energy and the amount of the resource from which it is originally derived are totally different topics. Besides, others have written extensively and well on the knowledge and extent of our energy resources.
