Abstract

The key words of my discussion—health, safety, and reliability—refer to matters which intimately involve the welfare of each of us. Do we believe that the corporations which serve us invest proper thought and effort in our health and safety, in the reliability of the products we use? Or do we fear that indifference typifies the response of many executives?
