Abstract
The virus of Herpes simplex type 1, was taken for experiment. Keratitis was induced in rabbits by applying the virus to the scarified cornea. Bonaphton treatment was started 48–72 hours after the infection, with the clinical picture of keratitis well developed, and continued till complete recovery.
