A New Parenteral Cephalosporin. SK&F 59962: Serum Levels and Urinary Recovery in Man
The pharmacokinetic profile of SK&F 59962, a new parenteral cephalosporin, was found to be similar to that of cephalothin after intravenous or intramuscular administration to human volunteers. SK&F 59962 was well-tolerated when administered parenterally. No overt pain was observed in 15 of 17 subjects after intramuscular administration of SK&F 59962 in contrast to cephalothin where pain was observed in all of the subjects following intramuscular administration.
