Abstract

When it started being used, the combination TS was effective against most bacterial species encountered in usual practice. This paper is a report on the changes in its spectrum of action with time, the incidence of synergy between the two components and the present position of TS as compared to large spectrum antibiotics such as ampicillin, chlortetracyclin and minocyclin.
