Abstract

The need for a simple laboratory size liquid nitrogen generator is increasing rapidly as more and more organizations enter the cryogenic field, and research efforts in low-temperature applications increase. Arthur D. Little, Inc. has developed for the North American Philips Company, Inc. a compact liquid nitrogen plant employing as its source of refrigeration the Norelco gas liquefier.
