Abstract

Two different pieces of equipment (see Figures 1 and 2) were designed and accurate measurements were carried out for the following physical properties down to 20°K:
  1. 1)

    Thermal conductivities of solids.

     
  2. 2)

    Thermal conductivities of condensed gases.

     
  3. 3)

    Thermal expansion coefficients of solids and condensed gases.

     
  4. 4)

    Compressibilities of solids and of condensed gases.
