Abstract
The Herrick L. Johnston 6000 liter liquid oxygen or nitrogen vessel is manufactured for the storage, transfer and transport of liquefied gases. The vessel is skid-mounted and includes an instrumentation housing at one end, where all operations are performed. The dewar can be used as a stationary vessel or can be truck or trailer mounted. When used for mobile service, interior splash baffles are installed to prevent excessive splashing of the liquid. The overall dimensions of the vessel pictured in Figure 1 are 142 inches long by 95 inches high by 87 inches wide.
