Abstract

Thermal resistant glass is used extensively in cryogenic experimental work. Many others have and are using this glass in the low temperature field. P. Pomerantz, et al, of the National Bureau of Standards used a glass still for the separation of H2 and HD. F. E. E. Germann of the University of Colorado used glass with liquid helium at Geneva in 1910.
