Conference paper
Part of the Advances in Cryogenic Engineering book series (ACRE, volume 1)

The purpose of this paper is to summarize the type of electrical equipment and methods of installation chosen for industrial plants and miscellaneous equipment installations used in processing liquid or gaseous hydrogen. An attempt has been made to set up systematic design procedures built around the National Electrical Code wherever practicable. This paper is not intended to be used as a rule book, but only as a guide and as a record of past problems and their solutions in order to expedite future design problems and to help insure the safest performance possible.
