Abstract

The high requirements engineering places on friction elements has lead to the development and production of friction materials based on metals. Research in recent years has paid much attention to iron—graphite friction materials. For example, Eisenkolb [1], Strobel [2], Dufek [3], and others have dealt with these problems extensively.
