Dark Repair in Bacteriophage Systems: Overview

Abstract

Bacteriophages have proven to be extremely useful and informative biological systems with which to study various aspects of DNA repair. In these introductory comments and in the succeeding papers in this section, emphasis is placed on DNA repair in two specific bacteriophage—T4 and λ.
