Abstract
The conceptual analysis of perceived quality in scenic and recreational environments arising in the prepared papers and workshop discussions was summarized in the introduction to this section. The development and application of indices for these constructs was the primary topic of workshop discussions and will be reviewed in order of the salient steps in that process.
