Superconducting Specific Heat of Nb—Ta Alloys

Abstract

Since the discovery of the anomalous behavior of the superconducting specific heat of Nb by Shen et al.1 several experiments to clarify these phenomena have been made.2,3 It is usually accepted that this anomaly is due to the existence of a second small superconducting energy gap.4
