A Simple Experiment for the Determination of the BCS Parameter in Normal Metals

Abstract

When a normal metal N is in good electrical contact with a superconductor S it exhibits superconducting properties induced by the proximity effect1 and among these properties are the ability to carry a supercurrent and the Meissner effect.
