Abstract

Several techniques for the detection and measurement of lactogenic activity are currently available. The specificity and the sensitivity of these assays, however, varies widely and therefore the choice of assay to be utilized—bioassay, radioimmunoassay and radioreceptor assay—is determined by the primary purpose.
