An oscillating annular channel containing superfluid 3He-A has been used to measure average values of the superfluid density for different amplitudes of oscillation. The results have the same form as the prediction of theory, and are in agreement with a ratio of two for the perpendicular and parallel components of the superfluid density tensor near Tc. A value of ρs1 = 1.1ρ(1-T/Tc) is obtained at 29.7 bar.
