Abstract
The PLATO IV computer-based teaching system has been under development at the University of Illinois since 1960. At the present time ca 103 terminals are connected to a CDC CYBER 73 computer system and are used for about 106 terminal hours per year to provide direct instruction in over 100 subject areas.1, 2
