Abstract

A 125MVA/100MW flywheel type motor generator is prepared for JIPP-T-2 stellarator. Special character of this generator are with control algorithm to excite the load coil current in the shortest rise time and with voltage and current feedback loops to keep the load coil current constant. Small pilot plant of 100 kVA generator with approximately same circuit time constants was prepared to simulate the control system. The operation is satisfactory by this scheme.
