The Hot Interacting Neutron Gas

We compute the interaction energy of the pure neutron gas at finite temperatures in the binary collision approximation (Brueckner-type ladder summation) for a realistic nuclear potential. The resulting equation of state is displayed for densities ranging from 1011 to 1014 g/cc and temperatures up to 1012 K.
