Prenatal and Postnatal Factors in Gender Identity

In what we have heard about the effects of developmental deprivation in two species, monkey and man, it has become apparent that there is remarkable cross-species parallelism. Investigatively, for ethical reasons, there are fewer options in human than in animal studies: unplanned “experiments of nature” take the place of designed experiments.
