Abstract

The following notes indicate some of the sorts of information needed by writers of taxonomic monographs, as well as by biographers, plant collectors and explorers, and those engaged in the compilation of local, national and regional Floras. The information could be made readily available with E. D. P. methods but is almost impossible to obtain under present systems, except in very small herbaria or private collections, and even then only to a limited extent.
