Remarkable advances have recently been made in organic synthesis by using palladium complexes.1 The catalytic reactions are of such variety that palladium promises to become as important in organic synthesis as the Grignard reagent. We report here nobel palladium catalyzed processes for synthesis of amines and benzofurans.
