Fiber Optics Applications

  • M. K. Barnoski

Applications of optical integrated circuits can be categorized into near term and long range applications. As an aid in assessing the long range engineering research and development goals it is often of value to be aware of the more current requirements and developments. An understanding of these requirements can provide a solid basis on which to define the long range device development goals.
