Wilms’ Tumor: A Review of the Toronto Experience
Between 1920 and 1968, 211 children with Wilms’ tumor had at least part of their primary treatment at the Hospital for Sick Children or the Princess Margaret Hospital. Patients referred after the completion of their primary treatment have been excluded. The diagnosis was confirmed histologically in all cases. All of the children have been followed for at least four years after diagnosis, and 201 have been followed five years or more. There were 113 males and 98 females with a median age of two years (Fig. 1).
