Energy transfer phenomena in molecular systems and in solids are investigated theoretically, including and not including relaxation processes. The dependences of energy transfer prohahility on time and on the distance between impurity molecules of a crystal are considered. Different methods of investigating energy transfer processes are compared taking into account the effects of relaxation.
