Electronic Mobility in Biological Processes
If you would ask a chemist to find out for you what an electric dynamo is and does, the first thing he would do is to dissolve it in hydrochloric acid. A molecular biologist would fare, perhaps, better. He might take the dynamo to pieces and describe the single pieces with the greatest care. However, if you would suggest to him that maybe there is an invisible fluid, electricity, flowing in that machine, and once he has taken it to pieces that fluid could not flow anymore, then he would scold you as a vitalist which is worse than to be called a communist by an FBI agent.
