A Thermal Study of β-Form Polypropylene
A group of instrumental techniques under the general heading of Thermal Analysis has become prominent in recent years for characterizing polymers and organic chemicals. Of primary importance in this group are Differential Thermal Analysis (DTA) and its more recent sister method, Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC). Both DTA and DSC are techniques for studying the thermal behavior of materials as they experience physical or chemical changes during heating or cooling.
